The goal of AiB is to create a low cost market place for artists to sell into the business sector, using rental as well as sale. We do the marketing and manage the billing and collecting side of rental. We invest fees to prioritise the site of Google, actively approach businesses, designers, architects, hotels, and facilities management companies. We also run exhibitions.

• AiB is low cost because our e-business apporach allows us to keep commissions charged to only 20% of sale and 50% of rental. The commission on rental is higher because of the lower amounts and the admin of billing, collecting and remitting to you. Combining our marketing spend allows a much nigher ranking, keeping us in the top 10 in Google for key search terms. All your work is tagged with your own name.

• Rental is great for all concerned because i) it allows businesses to make up their mind with less pressure ii) it is tax efficient for them and iii) the artist makes income but still owns the painting, and can still sell it after the rental. All artworks are fully insured while rented.

We find our artists through personal approaches and by screening those who approach us. We ask artists to submit samples of their work via thumbnails, togheter with desciptions, dimensions and a biography. We have 2 categories of artworks/artists – those that have proven themselves attractive to our clients and who we recommend when consulted (’our choice’), and those who have yet to prove their saleability (our general online portfolio)

Payment is by purchasing Art Credits which are in units of £10 (ex VAT). To get started you must purchase a minimum of £20 being £10 for the set up fee, plus £10 credit which can be used to display one painting for 10 months or 10 painting for 1 month, or 10 paintings for 1 month etc
